We’ve come a long way. Honestly, this probably all there is to say when a German general heading the traditional French military parade on France’s national holiday not even makes a big news item in Germany.
Not many German generals will have been greeted by the French the way Gen. Holger Kammerhoff – leading 120 troops from the Eurocorps – was today when they and their soldiers paraded down Les Champs (from CNN Europe).
